BUILD | DESIGN | STYLE | CELEBRATE

You could say those four activities have been the cornerstone of our family for over four decades. My parents, Mark and Cindy, have leveraged my father's contracting skills and my mom's eye for design to guide our family as well as others through several home builds, designs and decorating opportunities. Each design project was crafted intentionally for the lifestyle of their clients, with family gatherings of all size top of mind. 

Because after all, what's the purpose of designing a beautiful, warm and inviting home without having guests to share it with?!  My parents themselves embodied this notion, as events ranging from small backyard barbecues or themed birthday parties regularly popped up, with my mom always paying fantastic attention to every party detail and my dad helping bring my mom's vision to life. Invariably managing to execute a memorable event in an inexpensive yet impactful fashion, my parents made sure all attendees felt incredibly special, welcomed and loved. 

Unbeknownst to me, watching, listening and contributing to these projects and events instilled a lasting passion for this line of creativity. Today I find myself sketching out design plans and thoughtfully decorating rooms of my own as well as those of friends with the same vigor I saw in my parents. Even my husband, Nick, has jumped on the design bandwagon, helping gather antiques for empty shelves or even building new furniture with my father. And there isn't a day that goes by where I'm not either daydreaming about or hosting an event, of course with endless guidance and input from both of my parents as well as my sister and husband.

E V E R G R E E N provides me the opportunity to blend my personal love for styling homes and events that was inherited from my parents, and helps others bring their visions to life in a simple, affordable manner.
